At Humphreys & Feather we pride ourselves on providing specialized advice on all aspects of Family Law and de facto Relationship matters within a caring and respectful environment. We appreciate that when a relationship breaks down emotions are often raw and we seek to achieve the best possible outcome for you whilst being empathetic to your situation and ensuring that your legal costs are not excessive.

In parenting matters our goal is to maximise the time that you can spend with your children consistent with the law and the best interests of the children.

In property matters our goal is to obtain the best possible result that we can for you, again consistent with the law, and to ensure that your legal costs do not render the result achieved a zero end game. In other words, we wish to maximize your return from a property settlement and minimize your legal costs so that the result achieved is not significantly eroded by your legal costs.

We also have extensive experience in advising and representing clients in Child Support and Spousal Maintenance matters and in drafting Binding Financial Agreements (also known as pre-nuptial agreements) and consent orders for financial and parenting matters.

As our staff are experienced advocates we are able to represent you in Court without the need to employ a Barrister until a final trial. This can be a significant cost saving as many lawyers do not have the confidence to represent their clients at an early stage in the Court process and retain a Barrister to do so at additional cost to the client.
